Our History |
The Cascade Foothills Chorale is an adult, community choir (16 and up) which began as a group of community members, gathering to make music together at the 1976 Bi-Centennial celebration of a local church. The group began as BECCO (Buckley, Enumclaw Community Choral Organization) and was later called Northwest ECCO (Enumclaw Community Choral Organization) before taking on the title of Cascade Foothills Chorale.
Now known as Cascade Foothills Chorale (CFC), the chorus continues a strong sense of tradition and community. CFC performs concerts semi-annually in spring and winter and enjoys bringing music to our listeners by giving additional performances throughout our community. |
Who Are We?
Artistic Staff
Sadi Hager-Wentz - Artistic Director
|
With a degree in Vocal Performance from Pacific Lutheran University, Sadi Hager-Wentz has developed a love and passion for choir that runs deep. Hailing from Buckley, Washington, Sadi has had many years of choir experience including 4 years in Paul Scott's choir program at Enumclaw High School, 3 years touring internationally with the Choir of the West at Pacific Lutheran University, and professional performances with PLU’s Choral Union, including the ensemble choir in Seattle 5th Ave Theater’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the choir above the Pacific Northwest Ballet Dancers in Carmina Burana at McCaw Hall. Sadi moonlights at PLU's Campus Safety when she isn't waving her arms around at the chorale.
Sadi is so proud to share her experience and creative talents with Cascade Foothills Chorale as their Artistic Director. |
Angela Wentz - Collaborative Pianist
Angela is a piano teacher and collaborative pianist with Wentz Music Studios in Buckley. In addition to playing for Cascade Foothills Chorale, she accompanies the Enumclaw School District choirs and other music programs when they let her. She enjoys playing for local church services–you will find her behind the piano with Trinity Lutheran worship band on Sundays doing what she loves most–making music with others. What she loves even more is sharing her love of music and the piano with her little musicians. She has a background in education and she loves learners, loves music, and loves bringing the two together. She maintains a full piano and flute studio in Buckley.

Board of Directors
Katie Howard - President
I moved back up to Enumclaw when I was 6 and have been here ever sense. I own a little farm on the outskirts of town that used to be my grandparents until they both passed. I have been singing since I was little, and one of my fondest memories is singing in the kitchen with my grandma while we made cookies. When I got to middle school, I sang in choir from 6th grade all the way till I graduated my senior year of high-school under the direction of Paul Scott. After I graduated, I became the official car/shower singer of the house. I joined CFC in 2020 and became a part of a wonderful community choir. When I'm not working in the ever demanding nursing world, I love to ride my horse out on the trails or go cattle sorting. As well as maintaining the farm.

MaryLinda Epps - Vice-President
I've been involved in music performance as long as I can remember. The first performance I can remember is when I was 3 years and 1 month old. I sang What Can I Give Him in our church's Christmas pageant. I started piano lessons at age 5. Have performed on countless choirs, ensembles, bands, marching bands and orchestras. Won a music scholarship in High School. Played/sang in several different groups on college. Play the flute, piano and guitar. My flute and guitar skills are really rusty. I currently sing with Special Delivery. We lead worship at The Community Presbyterian Church in Buckley. I'm thrilled to have found Cascade Plateau Chorale. Serving on the board is an honor.

Jennifer O'Brien - Secretary
I started singing lessons in the 7th grade and dreamed of being a Broadway star. I've worked both backstage and onstage for Village Theater, Renton Civic Theater, Pork Filled Players, SIS Productions and many more both here in Washington and in New York City. Additionally, I have experience being on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Chapter of Amigos de las Americas an international youth leadership organization. I hope to bring my board experience, musical background and love of all things operations and organization to this Choir that I love.

Adam Trepus - Treasurer
Music has been an important part of my life since I was a child. My Mom was a pianist of 45 years; my Dad sang tenor for many years. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, cooking, spending time with family and of course, singing. I've been with the Chorale for four years and have served two of them on the Board. Currently, I'm a full-time employee and student at Green River College.

Charlie Liebentritt - Librarian
Charlie was born and raised in western Washington. He graduated from Seattle University with a major in mathematics. He moved to the Enumclaw area in 1976 to pursue a career as a computer programmer, retiring from Mutual of Enumclaw. He has a long history of choral and spoken roles, under the lights, behind the scenes, and in various supporting ways. Family and friends come first, but his lifelong hobbies have been books, music, photography, and landscaping. He has four kids with a dozen grandkids, and now another generation is coming on.
