2009 Holiday Concert

"Christmas Was Made For..."

Come and join the chorale as we explore the different answers to this statement.

These will include:
Decorating - featuring the long-time classic, Ring Those Christmas Bells (made popular by Fred Waring and his Pennsylvanians) as well as an old Chorale favorite set to flashlight choreography!
Children & Family - featuring the classic Sleigh Ride and an arrangement of You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch as well as wooden soldiers brought to life!
Faith, Hope & Peace - including a rousing dance song for Hanukkah, Fum, Fum, Fum and the ethereal O Nata Lux by Morten Lauridsen; never before heard on the Plateau.
Singing - what better way to end a holiday choral concert than by singing together. The audience will get to join the chorale on seasonal favorites such as Joy to the World, Silent Night and songs of the Angels.
The concert will also include a few different settings of The Twelve Days of Christmas; one where the audience itself gets to compete for best singing section and another where we finally learn what happens with all those gifts once Christmas is over.
